He wears plaids and stripes and hears a different beat .

We have a fashion lesson every morning . Our son proves one can wear any sort of combination for attire with total disregard for the matching detail . It is quite humorous . Our daughter is Miss fashion expert and she has offered her opinion to help her brother ; however , he doesn't see the importance . This morning he chose to wear Plaid Shorts with a striped shirt . Nice coral colors . Alot of color . You can see him coming from quite a distance . My husband and me exchanged glances and sort of chuckled . Freedom . He truly doesn't not care about the details of matching . Now , I am sure this causes some of you mothers great stress , but I am going to see the good in this . He feels comfortable . I don't pick -out his attire and I never have . He has chosen his look since a young age . As quiet as his personality is , well let's just say his color selection makes up for it . As I watched my kids head for the car , I see the girl with the fashion statement , and I can't miss the different lines on my son . I am sure my daughter will once again explain how he doesn't match . I am sure Bill will give her some come-back response . As the car leaves the driveway , we stand on the front porch and wave . I feel quite sure our daughter is contemplating a "What not to wear episode" featuring her brother . We shake our heads and laugh .
