Wet clothes will dry .
My husband has been such a great help of late . I come home to a clean house and clean clothes . Yesterday my son needed football stuff washed and in the rush of everything my husband put my daughter's clothes in the dryer . Now..... our daughter has been washing her clothes for about two years . It became part of her structure that she could control and help her organization . Unfortunately , Bo did not know about the teenager daughter clothes stuff . When it was discovered that the clothes had been tumbled to a crisp , warm dry , there was fall-out . Our daughter was angry and hurt . She had gotten tired and forgotten to tend to her clothes in the washer . My husband was dazed and confused becaused he had never heard of not putting clothes in the dryer . I am trying to maintain damage control without much luck . After the dust finally settled and the air didn't seem so stiff , a beautiful thing happened . My husband was worried about our daughter's hurt . He was concerned that he had done the wrong thing . He made a sincere , face to face apology to her . I saw the stiffness in her back melt as she offered her forgiveness by wrapping her arms around him in return . As I stood there looking at the famous pile of "dried clothes" I felt a peace . Warmth washed over my heart as I saw this miracle take place . My husband brought his offering to the table and my daughter accepted it because she knew THIS time it was real . It was geniune . It was from his heart . Today we will go shopping for new jeans to replace the ones that shrunk . I won't forget the look on my daughter's face when she discovered the deed done , but I will forever remember the moment when this daddy asked forgiveness and was granted freedom from his deed . It was like rain covering a thirsty garden and the ground soaked it in .
