God cares about algebra homework, picture day, practice and whatever else.

Someone told me they don't waste God's time with petty requests or concerns. I just cannot live my life that way. I have prayed about everything. I give God everything that is going on with me and my family. Today, I was reading Joel Osteen's daily word of encouragement, it is great you should add it to your favorites, anyway, he speaks about this. The scripture is the "God even knows the number of hairs on our head" one. I just love this verse because it comforts me to know if God takes the time to number my hairs then he surely wants to hear everything in my prayers. Some may argue that as your faith grows, you should become more mature and not bother God with the little details. I cannot pick and choose what to pray about and give to God, it is just too complicated. I rest in the comfort of talking to the God I love, knowing He gave me my fingerprint, my eye color, my not so thick blonde hair that is numbered, so why should I worry about telling Him everything. I'll let Him decide what is important or not.
