Turkey cooked slow. 275 for 8 hours. I cook it all night.
Seasoned with salt, pepper, poultry seasonings, butter.
Covered in my famous blue cooker, my mother bought at Big Lots, 21 years ago.
Sour creme mashed potatoes.
Sweet potato casserole.
Green beans.
Asparagus casserole.
Mac and cheese.
Cornbread dressing.
Gravy.
Fresh cranberry salad.
Angel biscuits, recipe from my mother in law, love them.
Chocolate pie and pumkin pie made completely from scratch by our daughter, crust and everything.
Butter for the rolls, forget margarine.
Lipton sweet tea by the gallons.
A pretty table set with my mother's dishes. Fitting since she taught me how to cook.
Family gathered round.
Coffee ready to brew with fresh creme.
Too many dirty dishes to count.
Hard work.
Time consuming.
Football games to watch.
Laughter.
Saddness for those we miss.
Grateful.
Overwhelmed with our blessings.
Thank you, to family, to my sweet husband, and to my sweet Saviour, Jesus.
