I can see clearly now.

I was reading my devotion just now and there is this wonderful scripture in Isaiah 30:21 that says whether I turn to the right or the left my ears will hear a voice telling me this is the way, walk in it. And all these idols and false images will be thrown away and out of my way. I was having a sinking spell sort of and just when I feel completely overwhelmed with life I find out the answers are always there between the pages of my Bible. Just a couple of hours ago there was a furious thunderstorm at our home. My daughter had several of her friends here waiting to go to a swimming party down the road. As they left the wind was blowing and the rain was falling hard, but about 30 min after they left the sky parted and the sun peaked through. Right now I am sure they are having a blast swimming and being with each other. I know God has a plan for my life and when things seem to be hard, confusing, overwhelming and the road is hard to see....I am going to look to right and the left and listen for His voice telling me this is the way. And whether I must start out crawling or walking, I know one day I will run again and if things or situations get in my way I know God will help me jump that hurdle, He will prepare me for the task. I just know it because I trust Jesus and I know He brings the thunderstorms that turn into sunny evenings for a swimming party.
