Words of truth, comfort so clear.
Someone..somewhere is struggling..wondering..
Just like a present dropped out of the car
Wind has blown it, feet have kicked it, rain has stained
The once pretty package all trimmed and tied.
Life has been hard, hurtful, full of selfish pride.
Edges are worn thin, raw aches from within.
Someone...somewhere needs to hear..
That love isn't bought, sought or lost...
That love offers freedom right in the midst..
of mud, trash, messes, regrets and dispair
Forgiveness when all has gone bad.
Forgiveness when all have closed their door.
Forgiveness when all seems out of reach.
Someone..somewhere needs to hear..
Hope springs eternal from the One who offers mercy.
Hope fills the cracks as large as the sea.
Hope brightens the dark when light cannot be seen.
Someone...somewhere needs to hear..
Fear can be chased far..far away with true joy.
Peace can rule among the tossing waves.
Goodness can touch the parts of life no one knows but....
A caring, compassionate Saviour who felt the liberating touch of his Father's hand...
Reaching far beyond our ability to understand.
