Where is he?

A young man, from Tullahoma, made it big a couple of years ago. He was known to have a strong arm in high achool and college. He came from hard circumstances in life and with the help of guardian angels he stayed on the road. He became a man and went to the big league. A big man in stature but still a young lad at heart. Life offered him money and fame quickly. With opportunities comes challenges. Long from the small town and hometown hero he stood alone on the mound. After the games it was just him in a big sparkling city where life comes at you harder than his fastest pitch. He stands over six foot and is a promising fellow; however he's bending just a bit with the blows of hard life. He has a nice bit of money with large pockets of gifts, buying him pleasures simple people only read of. His life isn't simple for now he is bought. His pitches cost money and losses scream from the side. It is all he has known but for now the rules have been rewritten. The fine print is blurring and his mind is drifting, back to a simpler time in his life when his choices were easy and the people he knew. His vision is clouding unable to see the plate. His pitches are missing, speed losing its time. Poeple are questioning how he has come this far. Life brought him riches and fame. His pockets are dragging with the wait of it all. For once upon his young simple life the heaviest thing he carried was his glove to the mound.
