Hanes white t-shirts

Its the laundry thing again today. As I am off on Wednesdays, I do the laundry. Today I am hanging up my son's white t-shirts. It caused me to chuckle as I recalled him needing new ones and he was concerned about the itching factor since the old ones were so worn out they were like a second layer of skin. I remember as a young child, he never liked anything but 100 percent cotton stuff. He would fuss and fidget even when I would try to sneak an article of clothing in his attire. As a result, I purchased his little t-shirts from the Carter's outlet where I could find the soft, cotton pajama bottoms and the little t's. They always felt so good, even before the multiple washings. Today, he still wears a white t-shirt underneath. It is no longer the Carter's brand, he's outgrown that store. I have found the Hanes brand or the Walmart brand to be the best for durablity and softness. As I hang these t-shirts up today it occurs to me I am so blessed. I have the priviledge of having a son. I am thankful that I know he likes soft cotton shirts. He doesn't like itchy tags. He likes his shoes to be worn out and easy to slip on. I am thankful for the joy in hanging these plain, old, cotton t-shirts up, because I realize it wasn't very long ago they did not fit on a hanger, they were too small. It makes doing laundry alittle less of a chore, doesn't it?
