I bought her Clinique skincare products.

I was so tired of the search and grab, for my daughter's skincare. I had made my last trip to that particular aisle in Walmart. To me it makes sense to lessen the choices and simplify your time and efforts. I decided we would go to the Clinique counter and see what it offered for my daughter's skintype. My daughter got on line and did the skincare test to see what type of skin she had and the products to choose from. It was so easy and complete. We showed the Clinique lady her test and she brought out the necessary cleanser, moisterizer and make-up for her particular skin. I invested 74.00 and we agreed to purchase the eyeshadows and other accessories with her allowance in the next few weeks. In one week my daughter's skin has gone from shiny, confusing and difficult, to a simple three step porocess. It has given my daughter control and predictablity. Maybe you think I have spoiled my daughter and you don't agree with my choice and that is okay. But, I am no longer standing in the aisle at various drugstores and Walmart wondering what to buy or try inorder to take care of my daughter's skin. Maybe you think it is vain. Maybe you think it is a waste of time. I choose to think I have made an educated decision. I have added up what I have spent on 5 and 10 dollar items and then purchased more because they are cheaper, and the result is much more frustrating and more time consuming. As a mother I feel it is my responsibility to be involved in everything, from helping my daughter with her facecare, to helping her take care of her life-choices. Afterall, if taking the time to find the right stuff for her face allows me the chance to make a difference with something as simple a facewash, I have a feeling she will ask my opinion on much more difficult issues.
Here is what she bought.
