Our new Traditional Home bedroom.

After 20 years of marriage, we now have a beautifully decorated bedroom. With bed coverlets that are actually the correct size, a new bed, gold accented pillows, the look is quite amazing. The quilt that has resided on our bed was a Goodwill purchase 13 years ago. With our new Jamison mattress that sleeps wonderfully, I was inspired to complete the project. I found what I wanted on Potterybarn and immediately knew I would not spend that kind of money, so I went to T.J.Maxx and found the exact color and coverlet I wanted. The price was great. My daughter helped me with pillows and pillowcases. I found Ralph Lauren pillows that are so comfortable and bought king and queen sizes. My husband likes to read and now he can have a warm, comfortable place to do so. When I look down the hall into my bedroom, it's like one of the pages in my Traditional Home magazine. I never dreamed it could turn out so well. Simple. I have never had a completely put together bedroom in all of my life. It seems so much more beautiful knowing I have waited for such a long time. As I returned home from picking our daughter up from the movies, last night, I saw my husband propped up on our new pillows and enjoying his latest book, this completed the decorating. He likes it.
